Checking to see if your screen is damagedWhile we do our best to deliver the screen to you in perfect condition, we are not able to control how the courier handles or ships the package. As such, a very small percentage of screens may be damaged during transit when it received by the customer. In most cases, the damaged will be apparent before you go to install the screen. Obvious signs include cracks in the glass or a bent or warped screen. See this example:
Cracks are usually accompanied by streaks of dark ink splotches that are the result of the LCD liquid leaking internally.
In some cases, the damaged may not be apparent until the screen is turned on. You may see ink-like splotches such as the one in the picture shown above. Shinning a flashlight or bright light onto the screen or from the behind the screen is a good way of detecting cracks and these ink-like splotches. What should I do if I received a damaged screen?*If you received a damaged screen, it is important that you contact us immediately. Reports of damaged screens must be done so within the 30 day return policy. If your order was "Fulfilled by Amazon", you should use Amazon's return page instead which is available here.
