IF YOU SEE SCRATCHES ON THE SCREENFor the NEW screens that we sell, it is very rare that you will see scratches on the VIEWABLE area of the screening, meaning the area of the screen that is visible after installation (the glass portion). If you happen to see scratches in this area, chances are that these scratches are on the the protective film portion of the screen. Some screens will have adhesive pull tabs on the sides or stickers that will indicate that there is still screen protector on it. However, it is not always obvious since the screen protector is very clear and may not have these indicators. Make sure that the screen protector is peeled off before inspecting for scratches, dirt, and other blemishes. Illustrated below is a photo showing this protective film being peeled off of the screen. Notice that this photo also shows a secondary film that is taped onto the side of the screen which is also common on our screens.
